Short Response: Research Plan Preparation
After selecting a historical topic to research further, the next step in the research process is to create a research plan that compiles primary and secondary sources.First, applying what you just learned about narrowing research questions, revise your research questions from your Topic Exploration Worksheet. Explain how you approached revising your research questions to assist your instructor in understanding your approach. This will help you draft an introduction to a hypothetical research paper with a strong thesis statement.Second, applying what you have learned about comparing primary sources and analyzing secondary sources, do a deeper dive into the primary sources you listed in Part 3 of your Topic Exploration Worksheet to help you start your research plan. Describe what these sources add to your understanding of your selected topic and how they relate to the secondary sources you listed. Additionally, describe the historical context of your historical event based on what you have read in your secondary sources. Consider these questions to assist you in developing your description: What was going on in the world/area/society around the event? What were some of the biggest political, social, intellectual, diplomatic, and/or economic trends of this era? How did those greater political, social, intellectual, diplomatic, and/or economic trends cause or affect your topic? The feedback you receive from this assignment should be implemented as you work towards your Research Plan and Introduction in Theme: Interpreting History. To complete this assignment, review the 4-2 Short Response Guideline and Rubric document.

Obsessive Compulsive and Trauma Related Disorders Psychology Essay
Treatment Planning: Practice
Nathan: A 23-year-old war veteran has recently had difficulty sleeping. Over the past 4 months, he often awakens at night in the midst of a nightmare in which he is reliving his past war experiences. His wife Linda reports that he has had flashbacks. For example, he threw himself to the ground in the backyard when a plane flew overhead, thinking it was an attacking helicopter. At times he is hyper-alert to any sign of danger. Linda states that his preoccupation with his traumatic war experience is so intense that he seems uninterested in anything else. In spite of his preoccupation, he is unwilling to discuss his military experiences with her or others. She describes Nathan as irritable, which sometimes leads to angry outbursts. She is also concerned about his detachment from her and others. Sometimes he talks as if he has no future. He also blames himself for his war injuries even though the reports indicate they were out of his control.
What are three to four components of treatment you would recommend for Nathan?

Walden University Social Change Project Report
report of your Social Change Project
Provide a brief synopsis of the social problem and policy you identified.
Describe the steps of your project:
How did your experiences as a social work professional and your own goals for advocacy inform your selection of a social problem?
How did your knowledge of, or prior experiences with, the social problem inform your policy analyses?
What did you learn through each step, including your selection of a social problem, identification of a policy, proposal for advocacy, and recommendation for a policy alternative?
Reflecting on your experience, identify 2–3 opportunities for growth. What would you do differently based on your recent learnings?
For example, you might select a different policy alternative that would be better received by elected officials (or other decision makers in a position of power). Or you might use different strategies when speaking in front of a group to advocate for change.
Explain how policy relates to direct practice.
Describe how you will apply advocacy skills as a social worker.
