Abstract
Discipline in the workplace is required for the achievement of an organization’s objectives.
Indiscipline among employees is, therefore, detrimental to the organization. Discipline is
enforced through disciplinary action. The supervisor plays a critical role in disciplinary action
and is, therefore, a key figure in the enforcement of discipline in an organization. The
enforcement of discipline should not violate the rights of the employees.
