The corporate world is building momentum in knowledgeable healthcare, evidence-based
practice has become a gold standard as consumers want satisfied quality healthcare, which is
effective and safe. Organizational cultures have been determinants for implementation of
evidence-based methods for a long time in the healthcare set up. However, implementation science
has not concise on which barriers are most common in implementing evidence-based practices.
This paper aims at identifying the two-organization culture that acts as barriers in the
implementation of the EBP practices across healthcare settings and some strategies to overcoming
these barriers.
Management priority is the main barrier to affecting change in the implementation of my
EBP proposal. Leadership may act as a mediator in enhancing or declining the application of such
practices — also, unreliable systems for personal and professional development (Wong et al.,
