Compound Y is 14.3% carbon, 84.5% chlorine, and the remainder hydrogen. The reaction produces 15.9 g of compound Y, which is 57.0% yield.

I got this but it was wrong:

C2H6(g)+4Cl2=4HCl(g)+2CHCl2(l)
