Foreign Entry Analysis
Introduction
Through marketing strategies, companies have developed diverse ways of expanding
their market growth. Organizations have started opening new shops in different countries to

reach its target population, thereby achieving their long term goals. However, the opening of new
branches/stores in foreign countries can be challenging especially when the company has no
information about; the constituent country's rules, regulations, competition, customer's
purchasing power, demand for the product, amount of tax required, target market, demographic
factors, among others. Therefore, the assessment of the country's target market is essential when
planning to open a shop in a foreign country.
An environmental investigation is an association of the essential apparatuses used to

Associations should utilize ecological information and data to break down for competitive
advantage in the corporate commercial center. Decisions made within the association in
employing measures and making business strategies are used to decide the direction that the
association will take (Sisk, 2018).

Problem statement
In its Dutch coffee Bros Café is still on the rundown of great 100 Companies.
Even though its cost structure isn't the most minimal in the business, the
organization is developing quickly as its stakeholders, and the policymakers
know that faithful customers are not searching for cheaper products. The
natural sustenance advertises it is extraordinarily alluring and is ending up
increasingly appealing. The coffee shop involves an excellent position in the
market and might be the situation of the association in a much more grounded

and more advantageous position. Natural and healthy coffee is extraordinarily
prevalent and does not show any signs of losing the client and market interest.
The way toward creating physical sustenance is ending up less and more
affordable with the rise of new technologies, and the proceeded with the
discovery of the business.
In this case, a successful corporation despite its nancial success found
interest in growing its market segment through applying the concept of market
entry strategy to tap into the respective country's market opportunities. Hence,
as an international business management adviser to the CEO of the company, I
was given the task of doing independent research on the country's marketing
potential to create opportunities for the corporation to generate more revenue
and pro t margin. To achieve this, I will have to create a market entry strategy
that will contain all the relevant information about the external and internal
analysis of the targeted country. Besides, the company wants to maintain the
highest of ethical standards and being a force for the betterment of humanity
and the planet. Hence, with the available resources at my disposal, I was able
to analyze and come up with the following information for the company's CEO.
Case Description
Identi cation and Description of the Company
Dutch Bro's coffee is the leading family-owned business in the United States,
and it has changed the market for the competitors by the many pace setting
techniques that they employ (Zhao, Cong, Chin, & Wen, 2018). Dutch Bros
coffee serves as one of the most successful drive-through coffee shops in the
United States. This organization operates in various parts of the nation, which
enables it to access a broad scope in the market, thus increased income.
Established in 1992, this organization has ever since provided its services to its

customers effectively. According to a previous statement released by the
organization, the rm has a total number of 9000 employees working in the
various outlets across the nation.
The increased number of outlets, as well as a reasonable number of employees,
contributes towards increased revenue to this organization (Singh, Ananth &
Woo, nd). Basing on the family set up the company saw the need to use the
women and girls to spearhead the activities of the company. Women are
believed to have better managerial skills as compared to males, and this is the
exact reason they use this idea to beat the competitors. The women can then
apply the care and support of the community through the income they get from
the company and at the same time, maintain the tight schedule that will assist
boost the brand name.
The Target Developing Country Market
The success of Dutch Bros Coffee organization depends on the various
decisions made regarding its operation and performance. The company is
planning to open a new branch in the United Kingdom as its rst franchise in
Odessa. Dutch Bros coffee is the only coffee shop that gets involved in
nancing the community around it and also one of its kinds that offers
smoothies, coffee drinks, private-label energy drinks and teas at an ef cient
pace (Jacobs, 2017). The company got the highest rating for the quality of
coffee they offer in the year 2012. This high rating is a plus for them as it gave
them a leeway to outshine the local competitors such as the cowgirl coffee,
Starbucks, fast food restaurants, and CPL Ray's.
The rating helped place the company in a good position for competition in the
global market as well, making it easy for them to penetrate the ...
