Generally, the criminal justice can be categorized into four dissimilar parts which include
the law enforcement, the courts, the corrections, as well as the juvenile system. All these parts
contribute to the system in different ways in their own special characteristics of upholding the
law, prevention crime, in addition to promoting justice for the victims and the rehabilitation for
all the offenders.
Law Enforcement
Primarily, the police officers are the ones that are usually on the frontline when it comes
to criminal justice. The first uniformed police were instituted in 1845 after the New York City
decided that the police officers were going to enforce the law on foot patrol. This was due to the
