this implies that P1*V1  = P2*V2

P1 = 101.5kPa, V1 = 0.5L

P2 = ? , V2 =0.25L

making P2 the subject we have, P2 = (P1*V1) / V2

P2 =(101.5*0.5)/0.25 =203kPa
