Unit I Journal
I consider myself a transformational leader. I believe in encouraging people to use
technology and their creativity to develop innovations that can be used to make the world a better
place and promote profitability in organizations. Creating innovative products or services that
can resolve most of the problems in the world today such as climate change, food insecurity, and
health conditions, would greatly improve people’s lives, which explains why people need to
change the way they have been doing things.
I think some of the qualities I have as a transformational leader include decision-making
skills, ability to inspire others, adaptability to change, and being proactive. I also lead with a
vision in mind and love to entertain new ideas from my teammates. Some of the ways that I can
use to develop these qualities in myself include reading books on transformational leaders and
leadership practices, finding a role model who practices transformational leadership or a mentor,
and taking on projects that require me to apply the qualities. Aside from that, I can also act as a
mentor for a different person and practice the skills while teaching them about leadership.
Leading by example and asking a friend to give me feedback on my progress might be helpful.

better than that, trust falls, the tag of war, puzzle solving, and...
