Description
This semester you will be tasked with finding the most awesome accounting job you can find. Pretend that the only jobs left in the world are accounting jobs so you must spend the rest of your life working within the field of accounting. You must find a job that interests you. Believe me, there are accounting jobs in every field that you can think of. Fun fact, the FBI recruits more accounting majors than any other college major. Other areas where there are good paying accounting jobs are in the sports fields, entertainment industry, agriculture, aircraft, green industries, not-for-profit, governmental, and forensics. If you can think of it-they need accountants. You will be required to find the job of your dreams, write a two-page (double-spaced) paper telling me why you think it is the job of your dreams and submit the assignment in Canvas. The assignment should be in APA formatting. Find an actual job posting (you can use sources like LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.). You will need to turn in the job announcement to me along with your paper (you can include it as a link or image). This assignment is worth a maximum of 30 points. Late submissions will result in an automatic 50% reduction in score.
