the most ethical way to handle this situation is by determining what was its root cause then trying as much as possible to find the problem and deal on it with immediate effect(Festervan, 2000).
some of the unethical decisions one could make on this case is having a conflict of interest on the case or even displaying some characteristics of favoritism(Rush, 2001).
the other options that i have in this case is the employment of the legal system in the handling of the case.
