For the case of clinical research, it is very difficult to identify the required resources and
use the proper method of research without the formulation of a solid research question. That is
part of the reason as to why different practitioners have chosen the utilization of PICOT
methodology to create a comprehensive research question which will guide the manner that a
certain clinical study proceeds (Ravindra & Kestle, 2018). With that in mind, it is plausible to
state that the use of the PICOT methodology to formulate research questions contribute greatly to
arriving at valid and actionable results.
