Team structure refers to a system that is composed of a multi-team or an individual team
in an organization. Team structure is crucialfor the running of an organization and is an integral
part of the teamwork process. Awell-developed team structure promotes teamwork by involving
good leadership that ensures that all team members commit themselves to their roles in the
project (Hausdorf, Risavy, & Hunter, 2014). In project execution team structure helps managers
to plan their work efficiently. Therefore, team structure supports the project management to
prepare for the job, the cost, assigning responsibilities, and the functional competence of the
project for efficient project execution.
Team organization involves the strategies that are outlined by an organization or an
individual to coordinate a group of individual to perform a particular task. While leadership
refers to a group of administrators or individuals who make essential governance and decisions
in an organization. Team model helps in identifying the requirements of the team, solving
problems affecting the team, and giving leaders direction to ensure effectiveness in the
