Please address the following: What do you think about the concept "new black"? In relation to our course, how do you think this idea fits with the goals of black people in the African diaspora? Does the emergence of "new black" indicate that black people have achieved full citizenship? What historical changes, if any, permit the possibility of this concept? Thesis statement: Racism should be eliminated in the Diaspora if the new black concept is to be
successful. The black change in mentality and self-improvement doesn't change how the whites
perceive them based on their skin color regardless of their capabilities.

The new black concept has put the responsibility for change on Africans ignoring the role
of the white’s supremacy.
Racism is the major cause of the stereotype and misconception.

The new black concept encourages the achievements of these through self-improvement.
It discourages the complaining and consistent expression of the inequalities.

The concept is aimed at changing the Africans mindset and not fights for equality.
