The book named The Gay Science by Nietzsche was a personal book to him as compared
to the rest of his books. It was in this book that he initially made God's death known, a concept
that I found very amusing. A broad section of that book is committed to God's end, and
specifically, the idea is well illustrated in: "God is dead! God remains dead! And we have killed
him! How shall we console our selves, the most murderous of all murderers?" The extraordinary
