Leadership and Examples of Leadership

Leadership is the ability to influence other people to do what needs to be done in an
organisation. (Graham, 2019). Mainly, three examples can be used to illustrate leadership. First,
leadership is seen through the allocation of duties where employees are assigned tasks based on
their competencies. Secondly, leadership is seen in monitoring activities in an organisation.
Lastly, decision-making is an example of leadership where leaders in an organisation determine
what to be done.

Team and Examples of Teams

According to Health & Human Sciences/Services organisations, a team is defined as a
group of people comprising complementary expertise needed to perform a project, job, or task
through a formulated system of relationship (Graham, 2019). Three examples of a team include a
team of doctors performing a surgical operation, a group of researchers collecting data, and a
team of engineers building a bridge.
