Description

As you move to complete your diagnostic posttest how has the amount of time and energy that you have put into each module reflect your results achieved on the posttest? You do not need to share your actual posttest results, but instead discuss your approach to mastering each module. What test taking strategies did you use for the posttest that you can now use for the TEAS exam next week? (250 word as a discussion comment)

As I complete the diagnostic posttests, the more time and energy I invest in mastering each subject, the higher my results have been for each module. For each subject, I’ve been taking adequate notes as I read through the chapter content before taking the quiz at the end of the lesson plan. Before I take the posttest, I’ve been reviewing my notes and referencing the lesson plan whenever necessary. I’ve been treating each posttest as the actual exam; that way, when it’s time to take the TEAS exam, I’ll have prepared well enough to perform better than I did during the pretest. The test taking strategies that I’m using for the posttest can easily be applied when I take the TEAS exam in the upcoming weeks. Such strategies include reading each question carefully, not rushing into choosing an answer, getting enough rest the night before the test, and just remaining as calm as possible during the exam.

As the diagnostic post test approaches, it has definitely required a lot of time, energy, & patience to complete these modules. I actually still have the Math module to complete. It is hard, I see some improvement but of course, it is a generalized review of all 4 subjects so it is difficult to retain all information at this time. I can't really say I've mastered all the modules but, for example, in the science modules, I am familiar with only some information learned from LVN school before. It is difficult to learn it all over again. I am more comfortable with the English/Reading portions. I have not taken the post test yet but I will try my best.

Discussion Comment: It requires a lot of time and effort in addition with patience to complete the
diagnostic post-test. I have attended all the lectures and made my notes so it could be useful during
the post-tests. I am not facing any kind of issue while remembering the things which were taught
in the lectures. These notes have made things quite easy for me. I read each chapter thoroughly
and make sure to understand all ...
