What factors have led to Janice Bowman's current frustrations? (10 marks)
Janice Bowman is an employee at the Depot who loves her job. She is more concerned
about the success of the company. The running of the Depot's landscaping is what caused her
frustrations. The activities were not controlled as expected by the managers. This made her
worry much and get overworked. The division had many issues, and yet her job entirely

handle issues. Many jobs were not priced according to materials used which complicated issues
and forcing to the company's downfall. Sinclair was not sure of the materials to be used at the
job hence quoted and charged differently, which contributed to the inaccuracy of the invoices.
The responsibility of handling invoice and job slips was passed to John Campbell. He was

unqualified and inexperienced. He did not bother asking questions of how to handle the
invoices. This issue made Bowman get concerned and hence overworking herself to rechecking
and correcting the invoices. She got frustrated since Sinclair developed a habit of pushing all
the invoices to her office, yet it was his duty to do so. She even got to the point of spending all
her weekends doing the manager's work.
