Rise of Artificial Intelligence
Introduction
The necessity of artificial intelligence in our industries has been a controversial issue in
society. With the 21st century characterized by a rise in technological innovations, artificial
intelligence has crept at a fast rate in our systems. Artificial intelligence is one of the biggest
trends in the technology industry in the recent past. Computers and computer systems and
applications have been developed in a way that they think and act like human beings. The
machines are the most relied on terms of decision making by making informed analysis that
helps make decisions (Ismael, 2018). Through artificial intelligence, human beings can access
important information upon request without delays. There are ideas that artificial intelligence is
the right path to advance the industrialization through ensuring efficiency and speed of work.
Society feels that artificial intelligence should be regulated to maximize the good for human
beings. Through artificial intelligence, machines have replaced human beings from their
employment, thanks to technology. Things like robots have been criticized due to their functions
as a human being, which is morally wrong. The future of industrialization should not only rely
on artificial intelligence. It leads to high levels of immorality, making more skills obsolete, and
reducing employment opportunities in our industries which should be addressed and resolved
through developing policies to support technology for human good, advancing human skills and
setting ethical conditions to adhere in artificial intelligence. These solutions will have an ethical
impact of ensuring moral compliance, creating more employment opportunities, and reducing the
rate of layoffs in our industries, creating a positive impact on society.

RISE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

The necessity of artificial intelligence has been deemed as an important step in the
industrial revolution. Artificial intelligence has been of many contributions to the digitalization
of our processes, thanks to the internet connection. According to McKinsey, artificial
intelligence has been an essential factor in various business operations today. In the retail
industry, for instance, it helps in the identification of prospective customers, personalizing
product information to reach specific market niches, and also in inventory management
(Mckinney, 2017). Artificial intelligence is also responsible for the development of human-like
robots. The robots can work for longer hours than human beings without feeling tired. They only
need to be operated efficiently. Robots provide a more efficient output. Modern communication
has also been attributed to artificial intelligence. People with hearing impairments have benefited
from transcription services, thanks to artificial intelligence (Eom, 2014). The familiar voice
controls are also as a result of artificial intelligence. Bottega et al. argued that artificial
intelligence is applied in organizations due to the ability of the organizations to solve complex
problems with ease. Artificial intelligence has been of great help to managers in making
important decisions (Botega, Silva & Murphy, 2018). Artificial intelligence has also found a
place in human resource. The complications of human resource due to a high number of
applicants has been made easy in artificial intelligence (Bargshady, Alipanah, Abdulrazzaq &
Chukwunonso, 2014). It has created more confidence in hiring procedures. Artificial intelligence
has been utilized in industrial revolutionization.
Irrespective of the many advantages attributed to artificial intelligence, it is one of the big
global societal problems. Making the industrialization more efficient and comfortable comes
with a high cost that is more than the benefi...
