Description
Answer the documentation for "Question" below. Each unit’s lecture/notes will contain four or five simple but fundamental questions. By the end of the course, a student should have answered at least fifteen of those questions from across all units. This exercise is purely to encourage students to come up with their working definitions/understandings of terms, concepts and ideas. You will be graded on originality, depth and clarity of thought. There are a total of 33 questions. I hope that the answer number of each question is not too short. I will provide some information you can refer to. You can also search for materials online. I will tell you each movie name in each unit.

Question 1
While reading the introduction to the film textbook, no filmmaker sprung into my mind.
However, I may relate the ideas expressed in the introduction to my own experience with films
in that in both cases, I would learn how adding one more aspect into the vertex would eliminate
the frustration and force the triangle to break free (Turner, 2012). In particular, I feel that the
introduction of the film textbook clearly illustrate the themes, the context, the setting, and plot
which characterizes all the process that any film must go through. I also feel that my film
experience has enabled me to have a clear understanding of different film narratives that depict
different themes and genres of films. In essence, the film narrative in the introduction resonates
well with my experience with various films in all aspects of concept, content, and message. Upon
reading the introduction, I realized that whatever I have been seeing in the films and various
videos I watch have always applied the necessary concepts that are required for a film making
the process.
Unit 1
Question 4
I feel that the Belasco's food triangle has become the primary objective of Carl in cuisine.
In particular, I believe that the identity vertex of Belasco's triangle has become a symbol in
cuisine that each chef wants to associate with in terms of authenticity, and perfection (Belasco,
2008). The fact that Carl's identity with Belasco's food triangle defines his investment as a chef
means that there are only 3 major factors that influence every food decision that a chef makes.
These three factors are the driving force depicted in the narrative that the film tries to illustrate.
However, there is a possibility that I can think of an alternative vertex in the triangle and add one

more aspect to make it a square that incorporates the constrained nature of corporatized cooking
which has become a major peeve in cuisine. While the additional component would seem to be a
brick and mortar restaurant, there is no doubt that it would be presumably a corporatized
hierarchy.
Question 6
The era we live in is obsessed with food shows and reality shows, a practice that has
given rise to many food channels dedicated to all its gallery because there is a need to make food
both authentic and ethnic. It is only through these reality shows and food shows that chefs can be
able to align their foods and recipe to the psychological, demographic, and cultural demands of
the society (Belasco, 2008). In essence, the TV shows and reality programs provide a media
platform of disseminating information on the best recipe of food to adore and how best to make
sure that the food we eat is ethnically and authentically correct. Through these food shows and
reality programs, the chef can incorporate the impetus of cultural, ethnic, and psychological
desires of cuisine to make their food authentic before the consumers. As a result, the present era
has driven many people to food media to encourage the need to make the food practice culturally
and ethically accepted even though the audience may neither be in a position to taste nor smell.
The main idea is to ensure that the work that these contestants create resonates with the
