HEALTH ASSESSMENT
MR C case analysis
The ability to identify the health issue in question has a positive influence on the
management of the health challenge in question (McLaughlin et al., 2017). Clinical
manifestation is one of the main approaches that help towards the identification of a given health
challenge. The use of clinical signs that a patient may show helps towards the determination of
the health issue that the patient may suffer. In the presented case, Mr C showed some clinical
manifestations that showed the presence of a medical condition that the patient experiences.
Swollen ankles, sleep apnea, an unregulated gain of weight, shortness of breath as well as high
blood pressure are some of the manifestations that Mr C showed that showcased the presence of
a medical challenge.
Risks factors related to obesity
In most cases, the failure of an individual to regulate their weight gain may have a
negative influence on their ability to manage the health issues that they may suffer. In the
presented case, obesity may have more negative influence om the health of the patient.
Hypertension is one of the health risks that the patient may suffer as a result of his inability to
regulate weight. High blood pressure may come as a result of the development of fat layer in the
blood vessels of the patient that may make it challenging for the heart to supply blood to the
different parts of the body. Sleep apnea is another health risk that the patient may suffer as a
result of the high rate of weight gain. As the case states, the patient is pr-diabetic, which calls for
the application of high-level strategies that may help in the management of this level. However,
there is a high chance of the patient developing elevated blood sugar level as a result of the
unfortunate eating habit that the patient had developed.
