Question description

Need week 2 in eight hours the other weeks can be completed in 2-4 days.

WEEK 2:

Select an organization for your Implementation Plan due in Week Three. You can choose your own company, one of the Virtual Organizations, or a project from the websites such as challenge.gov or a state RFP site.

Submit a short brief of your chosen organization and the project description to your individual forum.

WEEK 3:

Resource: University of Phoenix Material: Implementation Plan Template

Create an implementation plan for your organization, one of the Virtual Organizations, or a project from the websites such as challenge.gov or a state RFP site.

Obtain instructor approval of the plan before beginning.

Include the following:

·  Business strategies for implementation

·  Both technology- and human-based safeguards used for information systems

·  Information comparing security requirements of out-sourcing and in-sourcing

·  Comparison of technical, user, and system training documentation

·  Timelines and the need for their accuracy

·  Reference page

WEEK 4:

Design an application or site that presents and explains your Implementation Plan. The site must include all sections of what was presented in your week #3 implementation plan assignment and consist of multiple web pages.

Please note: I want you to create a site that presents and explains your plan, not the actual project itself.

Demonstrate the following characteristics:

·  Effective file management

·  Accurate and functional markup code

·  Effective and functional navigation

Use any software tool that you wish to design, develop, and create the application or site.

The application or site must adhere to the following criteria:

·  Apply usability best practices and principles of design.

·  Page content is organized and professional.

·  Create effective navigation for the application or site.

·  Integrate multimedia effectively.

·  Use internal, external, and anchor links in the application or site.

·  Demonstrate the plan for testing.

Submit your application or site in a compressed .ZIP file or folder. Include all runtime executable and source files.Identify what file should be loaded (.INDEX or .DEFAULT) or run (.EXE) first. All source code must be included. Links to web servers on the Internet will not be accepted.

I must be able to run and navigate your application or site without installing any additional software. For example, I cannot accept ASP.NET pages because I would first have to install a web server. However, submitting a zip file of HTML pages would be fine because I can access and navigate your site with a simple web browser.

Most students deliver a directory structure of HTML pages that I can unzip and then navigate with a web browser but that is not required. Some who feel more comfortable using a language such as VB will deliver an application that I can run. Please do NOT submit a server-side application such as PHP or ASP.NET. I do not have a server where I can run these types of applications. Also do not submit a URL that points to your own web server. The assignment must be downloadable with full source provided.

For many students, this is the final course before graduation. Presumably you have already been exposed to development tools in previous courses. I recommend using the development environment you feel most comfortable with. However, for those of you who are concerned that you have forgotten (or never learned) to create a simple web site, I can tell you others have had success with WebStudio 5.0. It's available as a free trial download.

www.webstudio.com

If you choose to use Web Studio, please remember to PUBLISH your site to HTML files and send them to me. Do not simply email the project file (*.ows).

Submit an additional copy of your application or site to your Learning Team forum so it can be peer reviewed during Week #5

WEEK 5:

Expand your application or site to include input form(s)—such as a change control request, a support ticket request, a test or bug report, a training request, or a contact request.

Use any software tool that you wish to design, develop, and create the application or site.

The application or site must adhere to the following criteria:

·  Apply usability best practices and principles of design.

·  Form and page content is organized and professional.

·  Create effective navigation for the application or site.

·  Integrate multimedia effectively.

·  Use internal, external, and anchor links in the application or site.

Submit your application or site in a coImplementation Plan Template mpressed .ZIP file or folder. Include all runtime executable and source files. Identify what file should be loaded (.INDEX or .DEFAULT) or run (.EXE) first.
