ERP System decision-making team
ERP system offers a company a platform through which it can manage, and integrate all
its operations. Departments that are touched by the inventory systems include warehousing,
accounts, procurement department, sales, production and manufacturing, and human resource
department. Thus, the heads of the respective departments must be present in the decisionmaking team (Saudi, 2016).

The ERP system has a financial module used by the finance department. This module
tracks the finances and accounts of the company. It eases the integration of all financial and
accounting processes, and monitors the financial reports and resources. The department is linked

Manufacturing department
ERP is also quite essential in the manufacturing department since the operations manager

materials needed in the production process. ERP integrates manufacturing and warehouse
departments since the operation manager can know how much stock is in the warehouse to
guarantee how much of products he will produce. This helps eliminate wastages (Miller, 2017).
