STRATEGIC CHANGE
Introduction
Currently, the organizational environment is changing very fast. The organizations are
required to implement changes to remain relevant in the market. The organizations are
experiencing changes in society, employees, technology, and government policies.

For a non-

profit organization, it is essential to be consistent with changing technological, social, and
changes. It is hard for an organization to control and predict changes. Therefore, an organization
should expect anything and be ready for it. Unless the organization embraces the changes, it is
likely to fossilize and exit in the market. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the non-profit
organization by the name Everytown for Gun Safety. Also, it will give a substantive explanation
of why the Everytown for Gun Safety organization needs a strategic change, and it will conduct a
SWOT analysis for the organization. Also, it will outline an Appreciative Inquiry 4D analysis
for the organization and analyze how it might influence strategic planning. Lastly, the paper will
provide a comparison of the organization outcomes in both a swot analysis and appreciative
analysis. For a non-profit organization, it is better to come up with a strategic plan to addresses
both internal and external changes.
