Akhenaton came to power upon the establishment of the new kingdom, Dynasty Eighteen,
of 1550-1200 ca [1]. His name was Amenhotep IV, but when he rose to leadership, he changed his
name to Akhenaton as a sign of his devotion to the Sun Disk, Aten who was believed to source all
