allows teams to work together on a given project and gives the
expected results while a project manager is a professional individual
with the relevant skills in project management.
The following are the reasons why it is important to talk about the
difference between Scrum Master and Project Manager:
✓ Understanding of roles. This helps both the Scrum Master and the
Project Manager to understand their respective roles in a project.
✓ To avoid misunderstanding. It helps the people who work under
these two(scrum master and project manager) to understand the
roles and the responsibilities of their managers hence making it
easy for them to know who is responsible for which activity within
the organization thus efficiency.
✓ To avoid conflict. Talking about scrum master and project manager
results to absence of conflict. This is achieved as each of them
understands his or her role and the job boundary. Otherwise, it
