Introduction
The movie breakthrough, as narrated by the writer Nieporte Grant is a Christian movie
based on a story of a little 14-year-old boy by name John Smith, who always felt so inferior
because of his family background. Whenever there was a case that involved talks or touching
on families, he felt beaten up. John found it hard to talk about his background because he was
adopted by Brian and Joyce. We do not encounter situations where the boy experiences
hardships in living with the couple. He only feels inferior because he only does not know about
his real family and the real parents who brought him to life. Various themes are explored in
this film. There are instances where ignorance is evident and inferiority to some others.
During a presentation that was planned to take place in class, the students are required
to give information about their family backgrounds. John does not get it easy about giving
