Description
Other than the in-ring action, the most important part of Professional Wrestling-- the glue, so to speak-- and the thing that sustains the narrative is what is called a "promo." These are either in-ring moments where a wrestler speaks to the audience or can alternately be filmed anywhere. If you don't know wrestling, think of this as a villain's monologue in a movie. It's one of those rare moments where the "tell" is more important in some ways than the "show."
I posted an example here. I wrote it and it's super cheesy. It'll give you an idea of the style, though.
These are not due until Tuesday. In theory, you could utilize these in your gameplay session next Wednesday! You might even get Matt and Sean to help you with them in class on Friday. I'd never even know! :)
