There have been cases reported of teenagers having children. This has been a major issue
in many parts of the country. Teenagers are giving birth at a tender age of thirteen. They have
been reported to go through a lot psychological stress because they are very young to be mothers.
There are many causes teenage pregnancy. One of them is either under exposure or over
exposure. There are teenagers who nothing about sex and do it due to peer pressure. There are
others who know what it is and they want to try out. The other factor is rape. Teen pregnancy not
only affects the teenager but the mother and the society at large. Most of them feel that they are
not part of the society and would. They even go as far committing suicide. Teen Pregnancy
continues to be a growing problem in the United States of America. Parents and Teachers should
be educating our teenagers more about the consequences before it is too late.
