Question description

Oral Argument

Analyze your experience with position arguments. Recall a time when you argued orally or in writing about a controversial issue that captured your interest. When you took your position, what did you already know about the issue?  What prompted your original interest in the issue, and what made you care strongly enough about it to take a position to begin with? Who was the audience for your argument? What did you hope to achieve by taking your position? Did you need to present the issue in detail, or was your audience already familiar with it?

Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length. Support your claims with examples from required material(s) and/or other scholarly resources, and properly cite any references
