Introduction
Blue Work Strategies have become the norm in the contemporary world. These
strategies have greatly changed the mode of working. They have brought about convenience
in the working environment. Besides, the blue work strategies have contributed to the
reduction of office space requirement in the modern world. One of the common examples of
blue work strategy is telecommuting. Telecommuting, which is also referred to as ecommuting is a work arrangement in which people work from outside the office, normally
working from home or a location that is convenient to their homes. Instead of traveling to the
office, employees practicing telecommuting ‘travel’ through telecommunication links. As a
result, they can keep in touch with their employers and coworkers via email and telephone
(Nicklin, Cerasoli & Dydyn, 2016). Even though the employee may occasionally enter the
