the learners will be able to listen carefully to a story about foods and be able to
differentiate between healthy and unhealthy foods.

Content:
Identify healthy and unhealthy foods and note the factors that make food healthy or
unhealthy
Identify the diseases caused by unhealthy foods
Identify healthy foods they eat at home and in school.
Asking and answering questions orally on healthy and unhealthy foods.

LEARNING STRATEGIES: The instructions and content shall be made visual by writing them
clearly on the board which will go a long way in enhancing the learners' grasp of the content and
improve comprehension.
Group work will be used to ensure that all of the learners are engaged and are concentrating. The
learners will be put in groups of 3 and allowed to practice more with their classmates.
also, the learners will be allowed to scaffold with their native dialects. considering that the
learners are still young and are just starting schooling, it will be important to allow them to use
some of their first languages to enable them to understand various names of the foods mentioned
in class. To do this, the groupings will be made in search of a way that learners from the same
native group is placed together in one group.
