Question Description
I’m studying and need help with a Business Law question to help me learn.
1. Should products be legally allowed to be sold "as is" without the seller disclosing known defects or problems? Is it more efficient to put the burden on the seller to disclose known problems or to put the burden on the buyer to detect them?
2. Why do we allow some sales to be "as is" sales, but require others to meet minimum standards? For example, we protect purchasers of automobiles with "lemon laws".
