Introduction

Most people have always mixed together salt and sand. It is often fun to see how all these
tiny grains of sand and salt mix together. If there is a need to separate them, it poses nightmares
of small tweezers, magnifying glass, as well as hours spent to pick these grains apart. However,
this should not be a worry as there is another way of separating them (Chin & Brown, 2002). In
this chemistry science project, we will utilize the varying solubility between sand and salt to find
out the easiest "solution" to this challenge.
The objective of this project is to make a mixture of salt and sand and then utilize the
