- Research and find two different visionary leaders with very different approaches to visionary leadership.
- Discuss the impact of the different brands of visionary leadership on the tribal stage of each organization.
- Discuss the differences between the two approaches and offer your thoughts on why one approach yields a different tribal stage and mindset than the other.
- Describe, in detail, three things that each leader could do to move his/her organization from its current tribal stage to the next one up.

Visionary Leaders
Nick Woodman and Alan Mulally are examples of visionary leaders with different
approaches to visionary leadership. The two leaders show different leadership skills and they are
all successful in the companies they lead. The leaders have also undergone academic
qualifications and career experience before implementing the unique leadership skills to their
current positions.
Nicholas Woodman was tried various entrepreneur sectors whereby some failed as others
become successful before becoming famous in GoPro company that he runs today. He tried
entrepreneurs such as the gaming website Funbug and website EmpowerAll.com (Mac, 2013).
Woodman grew up in California and graduated from the University of California with a degree
in Visual Art. He was also awarded a minor degree in creative writing. After failing in his two
startups in entrepreneurship, Woodman conducted a surfing trip that involved stopping in
Australia and Indonesia to capture photos and videos while surfing. He had to borrow money
from his parents to provide for his wife and children and fund the research. According to Mac
(2013), Woodman used a small camera of 35 mm and inspired many people with high-quality
