The advertisement agencies are critical in the creation of awareness of business
information to the public with the aim of creating an increased flow of consumers to their
businesses. The companies that undertake this role under some situations have to use deception
to increase the usage of their products by directly affecting the publicity of their competitors
through creating false accusations. The further effects of such models of advertisements also lure
consumers into using the products which they may not have required, and the products may not
serve the purpose as intendeds in the advert. For these reasons, consumers need to be extra
careful with the colorful language of advertisers to avoid falling prey to some promising offers
that are not realistic.
In the previous month, the Federal Trade Commissions through the court of Pennsylvania
offered a warning to the companies in the United States that claimed t offer cover over personal
injury from drugs. The FTC aimed its concerns over the increasing of the adverts that claim to
offer relief to consumers who are affected by particular medicinal products provided by
companies. In the lawsuit, FTC warned companies and TV stations broadcasting the use of such
services as services that have no proof and have a direct negative effect on the publicity of
producing companies in the market.
A recent advert on a webpage named Stewart and Stewart attorneys provided information
on the use of particular drugs that are aimed at creating negative publicity over
Invokana® (canagliflozin) and Invokamet® (canagliflozin and metformin) which are common in
the treatment of type 2 diabetes. The company links the usage of these drugs directly to cancer
and other adverse effects, such as Fournier's gangrene. The law firm offers to claim for

compensation, and even cash back guarantee if patients experienced the conditions named above
upon using the drugs. This advert was such a disguise because it doesn't offer any scientific proof
