1. Describe in detail what new cryptographic systems you are going to propose, how
they work, and how they will enhance security. Be specific about these systems
weaknesses and how you plan to compensate for the weaknesses.
Crypto systems have been in use since the world war when the Morse code was developed. They
generally involve a back and forth communication between two or more concern individuals who
have an intention of hiding their conversation from the general public. There have been several
advances of the cryptosystems due to the increased level of usage, (Khazan, Kramer, Utin, Vai,
& Whelihan,2017). The cryptographic systems have become more sophisticated and at the
moment they range from simple bar code systems to complex biometric systems. The
cryptographic systems are used to enhance security of the information deciphered and use
cryptographical protocols to achieve this.
Apex Trucking Company is involved in transporting of items that at times maybe very important.
The owners or managers have to be in a position whereby they should be able to track where
their clients’ items are and be able to ensure that the transporters do not know the nature of their
carriage by using cryptographic systems. Such a system is one which is in coordination with the
GPS. The first point of encryption is when the transporter is handed over the items by the
company; at this point a biometric system that involves either scanning of the finger print or the
eye ball can be used, (King, & Hjelm, 2016). Later on the use of a system that tracks these items
and such a system involves the ...
