Introduction
Effective leadership motivates employees and other staff to work as a team to realize the
set organizational goals. Leadership is defined in terms of personal traits, communication
patterns, leader's behavior, influence over followers, and relationship role (Reza, 2019). Leaders
influence people to realize the set goals of an organization. In this essay, I will talk about Naguib
Sawiris as the transformational leader. I will finally give a conclusion based on the entire
analysis.
Main Analysis
Naguib Sawiris was born in 1954 and is the chairman of the Weather Investments.
Sawiris also has a major stake in Orascom Telecom where he also doubles as the group
chairman. He possesses various transformational characteristics, including being inspirational,
supportive, and charismatic.

Naguib Sawiris is a transformational leader possessing different qualities. First, the leader
is visionary, charismatic, and inspirational. The transformational leader has a vision of
expanding his business and sharing the same vision with followers. The leader guides to
motivate and inspire employees to achieve the set vision, goals, and strategy (Reza, 2019).
Communication is another quality of a transformational leader like Sawiris. The leader has been
successful in business and politics because he knows the importance of effective communication.
Sawiris is also a role model in that he acts with ethical standards and integrity. Sawiris
has also been responsible for building the information technology, railway, and
telecommunications sectors of his company. The leader helped the Orascom Telecom Holding to
