Question 1. Mediating and Resolving conflicts between the property right homeowners and
the environmental concerns of communities
Conflicts in society are inevitable. Effective measures, therefore, have to be taken to
resolve disagreements and conflict amicably. The constitution of any country gives its citizens
some rights and freedoms which should be violated by anyone. Homeowners, for instance, have
property rights that have to be protected effectively just like any other rights. In protecting their
rights, homeowners have often found themselves in conflicts with communities over
environmental concerns. Despite the constitution providing for some rights and freedom for
every citizen in a country, in enjoying those rights, one should not violate the rights of others.
Environmental concerns arise when the actions of a land owner pollute the environment hence
communities around the area rising some concerns. If the conflict is not resolved effectively it
can lead to fights and destruction of property. Resolving conflicts between the property rights
homeowners and the environmental concerns of communities through a court of law is one of the
best ways to end the conflict.

lead to deterioration of the environment and this raises concerns from communities affected.
