Objective
The Policy Statement for Java Corp is dedicated to delivering a safe environment for
every employee free from any form of discrimination. Java Corp will have a zero-tolerance
approach to any incidence of discrimination in the workplace and treat every occurrence with
priority by promptly investigating the allegations brought forth to the management. There are no
exceptions; hence, any individual found to be involved in harassment following the investigation
will face disciplinary actions to some extent, which will be termination from Java Corp. serious
measures will be highlighted, and the process will be treated with confidentiality and respect to
avoid victimization (Becton et al., 2017).
Prohibited Conduct under This Policy
Java Corp is a compliant institution with all the local and federal harassment, and antidiscrimination guidelines hence impose this policy in accord to the following procedures:
Discrimination
Java Corp's policy provides for non-discrimination for every person in employing the
organization, privileges, and benefits. All work conditions in the facility should also be nondiscriminatory work conditions and standards. Java Corp does not discriminate according to any
person’s demographics, including disability status, gender, race, color, gender identity, marital
status, and age (Sepler & Burke-O’Flynn, 2015). This policy is planned to conform to all the
prohibitions specified in every anti-discrimination law in the country.

Harassment
Java Corp forbids all types of harassment and will make a suitable and instantaneous
response to the violation of this policy. The policy will cover both physical and verbal conduct
intended to coerce, threaten, or to an extent, intimidate any person affiliated to Java Corp. Verbal
harassment involves commenting negatively and using slurs that are unwelcome and offensive
concerning a person’s demographics; this includes negatively stereotyping people. The nonverbal harassment consists of the discussion and distribution of graphic content that belittles and
shows hostility to an individual based on their physical demographics.
