Business management and leadership vary from one place to another depending on many
factors like cultural beliefs, consumer behaviors, employees' behaviors, demographics of the
market, and nature of work. One area that can show how different business management and
leadership in human resource management, especially in Eastern European businesses. Most of
the Eastern European countries try to study and adapt the human resources practices of Western
European countries. The main reason is that most of the Eastern European country was under
communist rule, who had little structure and arrangement of stable markets. Many changes are
happening in Eastern Europe since the early 1990s as they undergo a period of economic
transitions based characterized by changing dynamics in social-cultural contexts, economic
heterogeneity, privatization, restructuring, and increased foreign investments (Brewster et al.,
2010). Considering the many changes happening in Eastern Europe, it is sufficient for the human
resource leaders to apply best human resource practices like the compensation package and
training program to recruit female American expatriates while ensuring that they follow the local
government regulations and labor union laws.
