1. In their textbook, Effective Training: Systems, Strategies, and Practices, Blanchard and Thacker (2013) state that on-the-job training is "the most frequently used training method . . .OJT is the preferred method for training employees for new technology and increasing skills in the use of existing technology” (p. 225). Blanchard and Simmering (n. d.) make the same point in the required reading this week. Have you experienced any on-the-job training? If so, was the training effective? Were the steps in the Job Instruction Technique (JIT) described in the Blanchard and Simmering reading followed?

Introduction
Numerous organizations carry out training programs for employees to provide them with
new tactics, skills, or information. This is carried out to improve the operations and productivity
of the organization. This may be done through strategies such as on-job-training. As proposed by
various literature such as Blanchard and Simmering, on the job training I regularly utilized for
technology revamps and its one of the most effective training methods. Besides, the utilization of
team-building activities, simulations, and games will be useful in diversity training at the
workplace. Effective training strategies require one to utilize methods that will meet the set
objectives and enhance the productivity of the entire organization.
On-Job-Training
On the job training is a form of teaching that imparts the employees with new skills,
values, and knowledge about the operations of the organization. As posited by Blanchard and
