The behavior of every person in society is dependent on strains and pressures that exist in
the society. Ethics refers to the definition of what is right or wrong in society (Swanton, 2013).
Personalities and environment determine the definition of right and wrong in society. Aristotle
develops a theory that a person's behavior is defined by the experiences in life, which mold
person psychology to either become good or bad (Peters, n.d). He illustrates that for a person to
be right, he/she must have been brought up in exceptional habits. The perception of a person of
what is right and what is wrong is defined by the environment where one grows. For example,
when a child is brought up by parents who are thieves and witnesses their behavior while taking
other people's things, he/she develops believing that stealing is the right way of survival in
society.
Aristotle's ethics defines that a person can only do something that he can do without
constraints. The power of doing something the ability of a person to act in society. He
acknowledges various virtues that lead to actions. One of the virtue is bravery. Bravery involves
fears of doing something noble (Aristotle, n.d). A brave man is fearless in facing death as long as
the actions performed are noble. For example, a brave person will turn down an advance of
corruption and face the consequences of discrimination or even death upon rejection of the offer.
The second virtue is a pleasure, which involves forces of achieving the satisfaction that is
