Frequency basically denotes the size of the radio waves used to communicate between RFID system components. RFID systems use many different frequencies, but the most common of them include: low frequency, high frequency and ultra-high frequency. Radio waves work differently at different frequencies, and that is why it is important to choose the right frequency for the right application.
