Team dynamics
Team Dynamics are the unseen forces that determine the direction in which a team in
whichever domain will take towards achieving a particular goal. They can be likened to the
winds that help a ship set sail towards a specific direction to its final destination (Johns, 2018).
Team dynamics come from the personality of individual team members, their relationship, and
the working environment. This paper aims at highlighting highly effective team Dynamics that
will definitely propel a team towards its intended goal and also unlock the potential of every
individual participating in the respective group.
Individuals tend to familiarise teams to groups which entirely, they are not altogether
similar in specific ways. For example, in a team, a jointed effort is required to reach a particular
goal (O'Neill, 2018). Unlike in groups, individuals can stand on their own and present their
achievements since they are incentivized individually, and one’s performance is not affected by
the other person’s (Walter & Rink, 2018). Therefore team dynamics only work at jointed
efforts, not group wise. Individually I work in a company production line that aims at providing
the best glassware products to its clientele.
The firm’s management put us into teams of people with the same specialities to
maximize profits in every possible way. For instance, my team tackles production at the level
of the innovation, we have different personalities that at first clashed, but with due time we
learned how to combine our interests to invent products that are top of the bar (Johns, 2018).
Being a team, we had to form healthy team dynamics, which included strong leadership from
our leader at the innovations department, total participation of individuals, and, most
importantly, everyone has to think for themselves before we initiate a group thought. Since

teamwork was undertaken, the company has had a tremendous scale-up in its production and
sales (O'Neill, 2018). For a team to succeed in their quest, their team dynamics are guided by
the following elements, commitment, excellent communication, and cooperation among its
