Role of The Director of Case Management as a health care team member
The Director of Case Management in health care ensures that patients are comfortable at
the time of admission into hospital, during their stay, and oversees the discharge process to
ensure it does not inconvenience the patient in any way (Challis et al., 2018). The Director sees
to it that the admission process as well the discharge one gets completed within a reasonable time
limit and that during the process, the patients' safety gets guaranteed. Another role of the
Director of case management is to create programs for the management of cases and make sure
that they are implemented correctly by the other practitioners responsible for that case as
assigned.
