Introduction
The United States has, for many years, served as a safe abode for many immigrants
leaving their motherland for various reasons. The stability and economic opportunities it
provides makes it one of the top destinations for people looking for refuge. This tale resonates
with my family, who moved to the U.S. from Iraq as a result of war and Christian persecution.
Although the move was instrumental in safeguarding the safety and security of our family, there
are numerous challenges that were faced in the process. This paper aims to provide a summary of
