Description
After reviewing some of the literature on Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Multimedia, and Learning Systems, what is a gap in the literature or a specific area of inquiry that you would like to investigate in this course? What are some HCI/multimedia problems in the learning and education field that remain unsolved? In 500 words or less, describe the HCI/multimedia in learning systems problem you have identified and would like to research further through a review of the literature and through development of an original research study proposal.
Then, write one main research question plus two or three related sub-questions that you would like to answer through the research study you will propose in this course. What question might you try to answer through an original research study to move the field forward and innovate? These questions should help you solve the problem you identified in the first part of this assignment and should thus include similar key words, concepts, and ideas.
NOTE: You will NOT be carrying out the research proposal you are developing during this course with real participants. You are merely proposing a potential study you may want to conduct as part of your dissertation later in your program. The instructor of this course will give you feedback on your research proposal to ensure you have sufficient understanding of what a doctoral level research study in IDT will entail. If you have questions about the difference between a research proposal and a research study/investigation, please don't hesitate to ask your instructor.

Introduction
The current technological advancements are to be thanked for the revolution of education
and the way we understand human thinking. It is essential to understand the brain to be able to
improve its efficiency during learning. Human-Computer interaction has been enhanced over the
years, creating new avenues of improving the performance of the mind. This study intends to
research the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Multimedia (MM), and the preexisting
learning systems involved in the several education fields. The main objective of this study is to
research the challenges of HCI/ MM in the education system and determine the preexisting
solutions to the problems. There are several issues with HCI/MM that needs to be addressed in
order to streamline the learning system. This report will touch on the main items that are relevant
to the research study selected. The main objective of the research is to determine what HCI/ MM
issues have had a direct impact on the education field and the learning system.
Literature Review
HCI/MM plays an essential role in improving flexibility and adaptability in education.
According to the research done by Di Mascio et al. (2017) on children between the ages of 7- 11
years, they found out that an enhanced HCI/MM software developed for the children improved
their cognitive abilities. The children retained their ability to read, which they did not have
before the research. The researchers came up with a system that allowed the children to read and
play at the same time. They incorporated the use of appropriate visual elements that made it
possible for the children to learn ef...
