The creative process as a concept entails the generation of ideas, establishing
relationships between these ideas, and producing final pieces of art of any kind based on these
ideas. Product creation is a process of creativity that starts with the formulation of ideas and then
incorporates other activities, including editing, critique, developments, and additions, before
finalizing to achieve an adequately attractive result. Music, as a form of art that uses sound and
words, requires creativity as in its development and as such, is subject to the creative process.
Throughout the history of humanity, various styles of music have graced the planet, each style a
revelation of its own and stamping a certain amount of influence on specific jurisdiction. The
evolution of these music styles differs in their characterizations, intonations, and delivery, all
boiling down to a variation in their creative processes. In the contemporary age, music influences
a lot of lives with various genres attracting fanfare in different demographic regions1.
The hip hop genre, for instance, boasts of tons of creative artists that embrace the various
creative process in the realization of their final product. Of all the distinctive artists of the genre,
though, none draws as much musical influence and inspiration than Marshall Bruce Mathers III
or Eminem, whose career has been phenomenal. Outside of Shakur Tupac and maybe Notorious
B.I.G (two of the most iconic hip hop artists of all time), Eminem has a fairly unique style of rap
and unrivaled creativity. The superiority of his technique and skill is more than a singular
opinion but a popular notion among listeners of the genre, as witnessed by the numerous musical
awards he has won in his illustrious career. An artist of such stature is therefore credible of
