Running Head: CHINA SPACE PROGRAM
CHINA SPACE PROGRAM
Since the inception of a Space Age, not a single day passes by that humankind
doesn't benefit from the space innovation: better solar panels, weather forecasts,
navigation, communication, LED units, better healthcare, television, radio, etc. With no
space technologies, then we would not have invisible braces of smartphones. Space
technology has made our lives significantly advantageous and given our economies a
considerable boost. This paper presents a general overview of China’s space program.
Besides, it investigates the cooperation amid Europe and China and to ascertain the
changes in partnerships with the development of China’s Space program. Generally, this
paper aims at providing valuable insight into the changing roles in the aerospace field by
analyzing China's hastily intensifying space program.
The china space program was dated back in 1950, and the plan was started in
response to the perceived American threats. The United States had threatened to use
nuclear weapons during the war with the Koreans. Gang of Four and Zhou Enlai were
among the politicians who played a significant role during the development of this
program. Any topic that revolves around space exploration is interesting. China Space
Program is an interesting topic as it involves investigations in the space and the military
activities in space. It is interesting to try and understand how china made its trip into the
moon and returned to earth with samples for further study. In this paper, I will also be
informing the reader more about the military space activities, China's Lunar Exploration
Activities, and International Cooperation, that is, the United States and China
CHINA SPACE PROGRAM
China has a clarified progress in space capacities over the previous decade. The
nation has propelled more that one hundred orbital missions since the year 1970,
comprising a string of fifty successful sequential launches of Long March rocket from the
year 1996 to 2006, after overhauling technical issues with the assistance of the U.S
organizations in the mid-nineties (Smith, 2005). China sent people not only in the year
2003 but also in 2005. In October 2007, it revolved a lunar explorer that's paving the way
for further exploration of the moon. Currently, China is a leader of the world in annual
space launches, yet remains less dynamic than the United States or Russia.
The Chinese space program was primarily established under the PLA (People's
Liberation Army). In a progression of the reforms of the government in the nineties
CNSA- grossly tantamount to NASA of the United States- was made un...
