In this review article, many researches in scientific journals had been reviewed, many topics
related to electroactive near-infrared-absorbing, nickel bis(dithiolene) complex polymers have
been covered, as structure, interactions, oxidation and reduction, applications and nanosheets.
Researches have concluded that Ni-BDC polymers are very high near infra-red absorbing, and

INTRODUCTION
Inorganic chemistry and all branches of chemistry are developing day after day, new compounds
and polymers are discovered, and unlimited uses and benefits can be obtained. Electro active
near infra-red absorbing nickel bis(dithiolene) complex polymers are complexes can be
synthesized by many ways, interfacial reactions is one of them, there are many researches on
them and studies on their properties and how do they behave, nanosheets for Electro active near
infra-red absorbing nickel bis(dithiolene) complex polymers have been conducted in the last
years, in this review article, many definitions, researches and reviews regarding Electro active
near infra-red absorbing nickel bis(dithiolene) complex polymers.
The techniques used such as nanosheets and the spectrometry devices such as SEM made the
understanding of such new compounds more easier, we also need to understand how the
molecule behave in different states.

Transition-metal dithiolene complexes comprise a large class of compounds that have unusual
chemical properties. These properties include that and they have magnetic properties and a very
high absorbance in the more than one range in the spectrum, but they show most absorbance
characteristics in the near IR region and the visible light region. Because of their molecular
nature, only two forms can be obtained for these compounds, which are powders and single
crystals, causing limitations to their practical and inventory applications.
